RV Type: Park Models
Back to RV TypesFor those RVers and campers who like to spend the summer at their favorite campground near the lake, or for those who prefer to head South during the winter, park models (also referred to as park trailers) are often an economical and convenient alternative for long-term or seasonal camping.
When set up, park trailers may be connected to available utilities indefinately and used as an alternative to a house. They are built on a single chassis which is mounted on wheels and can be 'embedded' into a semi-permanent setting.
Decks, gardens and skirts can hide the chasis and wheels and the unit can be made to look like a small bungalow or ranch-style house.
Park models can range in length from 32 feet to 46 feet or more and depending on interior accessories and upgrades are priced from $25,000 to $90,000.
