With its gel coated fiberglass exterior sitting on a solid aluminum chassis, the Helio “O” series is the best construction I have ever seen in an RV. This little line has been designed to be towed by small cars or SUVs. Its dry weight ranges from 1,089 lbs to just shy of 1,600 lbs. The overall length is just a little over 14’ with a box length of 11’. The floor construction is a fiberglass encased ¾” plywood, something you’ll never see in another RV. The inside walls are fiberglass and the ceiling is lined with an automotive liner. The cabinets are aluminum framed with top quality push lock buttons. I probably won’t be around to see but it wouldn’t surprise me to see most of those Helios on the road in 50 years from now. They are built like tanks!
The “O” Series O4 is the lightest of the series. More basic than the O2 and O3, it will guarantee to please the camper that is looking for an option to get up from the ground. Its large U-shape dinette easily transform into a 74” x 80” king size bed. The optional front counter is the way we order our O4’s as it provide a great surface to prep a meal and offer a great amount of storage. The O4 comes with a portable toilet making the trip to the outhouse in the middle of the night a little closer. This floorplan also provides a dedicated space for your cooler. A combo 12 volts / USB outlet is also located right beside it. At 1,322 lbs, this little trailer can be towed by even the smallest of car.
It has a full aluminum chassis with a swivel tongue jack, radial tires on aluminum wheels, torsion axle, flexible rubberize fenders, rock guarded wheel wells, detachable power cord, solar panel ready, LED marker and tail lights, full fiberglass construction with welded seams to prevent water infiltration, stabilizer jacks, large outside storage access, patio light, frameless tinted windows, maxx-air fan, spare tire, a 12 volts/USB combo outlet, aluminum framing cabinets, large front counter with sink, portable toilet, propane tank holder, dual intensity LED interior lights, propane furnace, an extra window, and so much more.
If buying something well-built is important to you, this is it. To top it off, it’s built in Quebec, Canada.
